The Church is a gentler, kinder organism, a species of its own. It ought to confound both the left and right, while finding its identity from the center of God’s call, Christ's life and His kingdom now and yet to come. Augustine of Hippo wrote: He who does not have the church as his mother, does not have God as his father.
