Life is like a Jigsaw Puzzle
Have you ever tried to assemble one of
those large Jigsaw Puzzles – the really big ones that take up half
the dinning room table? I remember working on one of those bad boys for what
seemed like months. There were times when several pieces of the puzzle came and
fit together in a blink of an eye, voila! Then nothing, nothing seemed to fit,
the pieces didn’t make sense. At this point, it was fairly common in my house
to blame the puzzle-maker, they must have excluded some pieces; the ones that
didn’t fit seemed to be the wrong color, shape or design. In church, we are
like God’s very own unique pieces, unmatched in hue, character and nature. But
we are designed to fit and be part of God’s bigger picture and story. Think
about this: “…God has us where he
wants us…All we do is trust him enough to let him do it…We don’t play the major
role…He creates each of us…to join him in the work he does…” Because I am, because you are, His
workmanship, created for good works, we are uniquely made to be part of His immense
picture. This holds true especially when and even if all the pieces don’t yet fit,
or the bigger picture has not been revealed by the Maker. Think about it, this
Sunday…Pastor Keith
