God Uses Broken Vessels!
A wise Rabbi once wrote, ...if an ordinary person makes use of a broken vessel, (like the chipped plate in my china cabinet) it is a shameful thing...but when the Holy One makes use of broken vessels - something special happens. God does not always look for the newest piece of china, the best résumé or the smartest person. Quite the contrary. Read the pages of Scripture and find that He often seeks the underachiever; the laughingstock of the “in crowd,” the person voted “least likely to succeed. When Paul wrote to the church at Philippi he said: “…whatever I used to count as my greatest accomplishments, I’ve written them off as a loss…” Paul understood that faith, supplied by God, is what motivated him to love others and charge ahead. There are no limits to what God can do with someone who is broken. The prospects are endless - Adonai is near to the broken-hearted…Pastor Keith
