Are People More Self-Centered Today?

His politics are exemplified in the Gospels, specifically in the Sermon on the Mount — his radical teachings were and are about loving …

I think that Christ's coming didn’t just inaugurate an earthly kingdom merely to save people, but also to offer a stark contrast and stunning example of how to love. Saint Teresa of Avila considered perfect love to be: "an imitation of the love of Christ". Jesus’ government is a real, nothing like the governments of the ages, it’s a ministry of peace and good will.

He continued: "...This results in our gospel becoming small and self-centered..."

Let's challenge our 'looking out for number one' life with a renewed commitment to the greatness of God’s love for mankind. This is not only a central element of Christian faith, theology and creed, but it's also a fundamental rhythm to Ministry in Motion, this year. Peace be with you...#pkes
