Goals
Do our goals make
room for God? “…We can make our
plans, but the Lord determines our steps…” Proverbs 16:9 In other words, don’t plan without God. We
all have our ideas and our strategies, but how often do we not even consider
the Lord while planning things in our lives? God and His will and opinion should be the greatest factors in all of
our planning. Yet, often we go to Him
last or when our plans get all out of whack. Try this: Take
your ideas and plans and goals to Him. Wait
on Him – listen intently. And
when you hear from Him, and even if we don’t understand God’s plan, respond to his direction. In
fact, when we don’t understand God’s plan, that’s really the time to be even
more deliberate and do exactly what He directs you to do. Until we get our goals and plans in line with His,
